We enjoy meeting the many visitors who come to our school to have a look around. During normal circumstances, tours take place during term time, when you can come and meet the Headteacher and be shown around the school by a dedicated member of staff/parent. It is a great opportunity to see our lovely school for yourself, and to take a peek into each classroom.

Riversdale's Nursery can accommodate upto 26 children in the morning and 26 children in the afternoon. These are mainstream spaces and are made up of a combination of Full-Time and Part-Time places. Please note: the resource base admissions if from Reception upwards.
Please note that a Nursery place is no guarantee of a place in Reception the following year.
Applications to join Riversdale's Nursery are made through the school itself. Places are allocated using standard criteria which can be found in the attached document.
Applications for a Nursery place must be received by the school on or before the last day of January each year. Application forms are available from the school office or can be downloaded here. Please note that forms must be handed in or posted to the school office, emailed forms cannot be accepted.
Riversdale is a two form entry (60 places) school as of September 2017.
Applications for places in Reception to Year 6 are coordinated by the local authority not the school.

There is a right to appeal if your child does not get a place in the school of your choice. This is handled by the local authority and more information and guidance can be found on their website.
